Mahalo (thanks in Hawaiian) for asking this question. The way it is literally written, the answer would have to be no. God made us with a free will to choose. No one or any entity can “make” you do anything. Yes, God can, but He will not. However, what we fill our hearts with (Luke 6:45) will influence our decisions. Our hearts are our belief and value system. Therefore, if you fill your heart with the lies of the devil, then I guess you can say the devil influenced you to do it. If you try to remain neutral, the default will always favor the devil's ideas. The only sure way of making your own uninfluenced reaction to things is to fill your heart with the Word of God. Because God always gives you a choice to choose. Do not blame the devil. He is only here to give you a choice. Make it a good one.
