I saw the words “I feel.”
I have often been told that we should not base things on how we feel. This could easily lead us to believe feelings are not of God, or at least not a part of our worship and praise. The Holy Spirit wants us to know that our feelings are a very important part of our worship and praise. However, feelings should not control our actions. We praise the Lord in Spirit and in truth, and joy comes in the morning.
Nehemiah 8:10, Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
John 15:11, I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, Rejoice always, 17pray continually, 18give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Ecclesiastes 9:7, Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for God has already approved what you do.
Psalms 30:5, For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
