The short answer is yes, but why would you want to? An analogy would be like buying a new car but never driving it anywhere. You sit in it and enjoy the beauty. It can keep you warm and dry in bad weather. It can give you bragging rights that you own a car. However, you are missing out on the full potential of the car.
The third person of the Trinity, God the Holy Spirit, has three main responsibilities. The first is to reveal Jesus to people and bring them to salvation. The second is to dwell in people when they become a born-again Christian. The Holy Spirit guides and teaches us everything we need. The third responsibility is to use us to help build up the Kingdom of God.
In order to be used to our full potential, we need to be filled or baptized in the Holy Spirit. We get to go to heaven when we are saved (born-again), and we can survive being a Christian because the Holy Spirit is in us, protecting and teaching us. We can even do our human part to serve the Lord. However, to serve the Lord supernaturally, we need to be baptized in the Holy Spirit.
Remember, if you don’t understand, ask!
