I saw the front edge of a thick forest. I looked back and forth, looking for an opening so I could enter the forest. After some time had gone by, I was about to give up looking for the opening. Then I paused, turned toward the forest, and just walked through and into the forest.
Sometimes the path God leads us on reaches a formidable barrier. If we pass through on our own understanding, we will likely want to give up. However, we need to take a moment to pause, seek the Lord’s direction, and walk through the barrier by faith.
Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Romans 8:28, And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
“Remember, if you don’t understand, ask!”
