Why does God seem so "hidden" in daily life?
Why does God seem so "hidden" in daily life?
Mahalo (Thank you in Hawaiian) for asking this question. The short answer is you are looking in the wrong direction with the wrong eyes. God the Father made His children with the ability to know their status with Him. “The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.” (Romans 8:16). The Father also made His children with the ability to hear His voice. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” John 10:27 (ESV). In Matthew 13:11, we read why Jesus spoke in parables. He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.”
If you are a Christian, God is not hidden from you. If you can not see Him, then perhaps you are hiding behind something that is blocking your view. There are a lot of things that keep us from seeing the truth about God. Talk to a trusted Christian friend. You can email me at DrGene@thebehls.net
