Picture:
I saw what looked like a bat with a human head hanging upside down. A big creature came with a big mouth and saliva flying all around. I first thought, why would I get such a gruesome picture? So I looked again. Then, I saw the creature licking and happily playing with the human head.
Word:
The message is “Don’t jump to conclusions too quickly.” We can be quick to defend ourselves against the things we know are bad for us. However, when something unfamiliar comes along, we need to be cautious but approach with an open mind. Our preconceived ideas can not be trusted. Our memories are not always reality. Our memories were stored in conjunction with our emotions and fears. When we recall these memories, we also bring up how we felt when we made those memories. Pleasant, sad, frightening, and whatever else we felt at the time are stronger than the actual event.
“Remember, if you don’t understand, ask!”
