What is God's will for my life?
What is God's will for my life?
Questions like this one do not have a simple answer because everyone is unique. We all have different fingerprints, retinas, and many more things that make us unique. Since we are unique, we have a unique relationship with Father God. Therefore, I will give you some general tips to lead you in the right direction to know God's will for your life. Romans 12:2 says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will.” So if you are not living like the sinful world, then all you have to do is be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Renewing your mind is a complex and lengthy process. There is no quick fix. No one way fits everyone every time.
You need to know how you learn.
You need to know that your mind does not always get it right. (Your mind is full of lies and half-truths).
You need to learn how to meditate. Not as the world does by centering your mind on self, but as the Christian does by centering on Christ Jesus our Lord.
Some Scriptures that may help:
2 Corinthians 10:5, We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Proverbs 11:5, The righteousness of the blameless makes their paths straight, but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness.
