What can you tell me about the Spiritual realm?
What can you tell me about the Spiritual realm?
Although the Spiritual realm is real, it is outside human physical existence and not easily understood. However, the Holy Spirit reveals to us as He determines what we are able to understand (1 Corinthians 2:10). Humans often take the information about the Spiritual realm out of context. The enemy (devil) distorts information about the Spiritual realm, making the information full of lies and partial truths. The media and entertainment industry make up a lot of fictional information based on what little they know or think they know about the Spiritual realm.
Therefore, the Holy Spirit will reveal what He wants us to know. If you want to know more, ask, then be careful how you share your new knowledge. Remember, everyone understands things differently, so do not make what you learn about the Spiritual realm as universal truth. The knowledge you learn is for your enjoyment, encouragement, and strength. Please treat it as such.
1 Corinthians 2:9-14, However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”—the things God has prepared for those who love him—10these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. 14The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.
2 Kinds 6:15-17 is an example of the Holy Spirit allowing a view into the Spiritual realm.
15When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked. 16“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
